Scott is the author of #HOME; 101 Ways To Improve Your Home's Comfort & Energy Efficiency, and co-founded Ciel Power LLC, an energy efficiency consultancy.
In 2019 and 2020, Scott's firm was named Home Performance with ENERGY STAR® Contractor of the Year by the U.S. Department of Energy and the U.S. Department of Environmental Protection - a national honor reserved for the top 1% of energy efficiency consultancies.
Scott possesses numerous industry designations and is a member of the U.S. Green Building Council. Scott frequently appears in public speaking engagements, panel discussions, and has contributed to articles in numerous publications including The New York Times and Realtor Magazine.

New Jersey Sustainable Business Council
Scott's company, Ciel Power LLC, is a member of the New Jersey Sustainable Business Council (NJSBC) and the American Sustainable Business Council (ASBC). Scott is a member of NJSBC Working Group.
The New Jersey Sustainable Business Council and its members are working together to constructively influence and shape relevant public policy and legislation at the state level, amplify the voice of sustainable businesses at the national level, and serve as inspirational models, collaborators and educators for all New Jersey businesses and organizations that wish to adopt or improve their own triple bottom line strategies and results.

In January of 2020, Scott joined a highly select group of leaders to learn about the cutting edge issues facing New Jersey. Upon graduation, Scott will join a group of more than 1600 well-informed leaders, known as Fellows, who are prepared to cross boundaries across sectors, work effectively with people of all backgrounds, and find common ground with those who may think differently about issues.
New York City Fair Trade Coalition
Scott is an active member of the New York City Fair Trade Coalition, a grassroots organization that promotes fair trade businesses and educates consumers on the importance of fair trade.
Scott Fischer: Ciel Power
In 2010, Scott Fischer left his corporate job as a Human Resources Service Representative at Paychex, Inc. to chase a dream of founding his business. He wasn't just seeking to build a company; he wanted to build an entire community around energy efficiency.

Scott was presented with the New Jersey Business Incubation Network (NJBIN) Award by New Jersey Lieutenant Governor Kim Guadagno at a ceremony held at the Rutgers EcoComplex in Bordentown Township, NJ. Ciel Power LLC was selected from nearly 500 early stage and start-up companies to receive NJBIN's First Annual Business Incubation Award.
